Housed in a neo-classical style building, the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum features the different aspects of Louisiana history and development through rotating exhibits and dioramas. It features art pieces of prehistoric period, artifacts of Louisiana’s most high-profile figures, several rotating exhibits, and eighteen world renewed dioramas portraying the life and commerce in the state. The Shreveport Municipal Auditorium is a concert and meeting venue where Hank Williams, Kitty Wells, Elvis Presley, and several other legends of the 50s and 60s created history by drawing large number of visitors to the area.
